Alfa 156 and sport wagon also leads the way in terms of passive safety. The in-deformable passenger cabin is designed as a survival with maximum torsional rigidity, a body shell with controlled deformability and seat anti-penetration bars if the sophisticated electronic control unites activates passive safety devices. There are six airbags: driver side and passenger side (can be disabled) the seat bars in into the front seats and the window bars to protect passengers’ head from the side. Inertia – reel pre-tensioners and load limiter rear seatbelts with belt-roller telescopic and collapsible steering column and the FPS fire prevention system, which stops fuel delivery. Naturally all this comes as standard. |
